2021 OCTOBER RESPECT LIFE
40-DAY VIGIL FOR LIFE
Each October the Catholic Church in the United States celebrates Respect Life Month, and the first Sunday of October is observed as Respect Life Sunday. The Mary Star of the Sea Roman Catholic Church joined the program with other Catholic Churches and annually celebrate Respect Life “40-Day Vigil in October”. As Catholics, we believe that every human being is made in the image and likeness of God. Every human life is therefore sacred and inviolable and should be protected and cherished from conception until natural death. We call to pray together the issues on the culture of life: Practices such as abortion, assisted suicide, and capital punishment violate the dignity of the human person and must be rejected. Calling all families! Let’s pray for culture of life issues with the intercession of St. Joseph. The Respect Life Theme for 2021 is “ST. JOSEPH, DEFENDER OF LIFE, PRAY FOR US!” Everyone is invited to come and take advantage to offer all your sacrifices and crosses on this beautiful celebration of Respect Life 40 Day Vigil for Life. 40 DÍAS DE VIGILANCIA DE POR VIDA
Cada octubre, la Iglesia Católica en los Estados Unidos celebra el Mes del Respeto a la Vida, y el primer domingo de octubre se observa como Domingo del Respeto a la Vida. La Iglesia Católica Romana Mary Star of the Sea se unió al programa con otras iglesias católicas y celebra anualmente la “Vigilia de 40 días en octubre” de Respect Life. Como católicos, creemos que todo ser humano está hecho a imagen y semejanza de Dios. Por tanto, toda vida humana es sagrada e inviolable y debe ser protegida y apreciada desde la concepción hasta la muerte natural. Hacemos un llamado a orar juntos por los temas de la cultura de la vida: Prácticas como el aborto, el suicidio asistido y la pena capital violan la dignidad de la persona humana y deben ser rechazadas. ¡Llamando a todas las familias! Oremos por los problemas de la cultura de la vida con la intercesión de San José. El tema Respeto a la vida para 2021 es “ST. JOSÉ, DEFENSOR DE LA VIDA, ¡ORA POR NOSOTROS! ” Todos están invitados a venir y aprovechar para ofrecer todos sus sacrificios y cruces en esta hermosa celebración de Respeto a la Vida 40 Días Vigilia por la Vida.
